White River State Park, 801 W. Washington St., Indianapolis

On the final Saturday of every April, thousands of Hoosiers head to downtown Indianapolis to attend one of the nation's largest Earth Day festivals. The Earth Day Indiana Festival combines 130 environmental and conservation exhibits, live music, special activities for kids and good food.

The Indiana Wildlife Federation will help 200 kids build a birdfeeder they can take home. It is one of many fun activities.
