As an Earth Day volunteer, you will be responsible for one 3-hour shift. (If you would like to do more than one 3-hour shift, that's great! Just please make a note.) We'll do our best to give you something as close as possible to the shift and activity you prefer, and will confirm by e-mail (if no e-mail, then mail or phone).

I prefer (check one general time of day; actual shift times may vary by activity):

___ Set-up the day before (Friday the 23rd, 4-6 p.m., hang banners, assemble gift bags)

___ Saturday Morning (For example, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., 1:45-5:15 p.m., or noon-3 p.m.)

___ Saturday Midday (For example, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., 11 a.m.-2p.m., or noon-3 p.m.)

___ Saturday Afternoon (For example, 4-6 p.m., 2-5 p.m., 2:45p.m.-6:00pm)

I prefer the following activities on Earth Day (please check your top 3):

___ Any Activity (I am flexible to work in any area where I'm most needed)

___ Set Up (hang banners, put up signs, unpack boxes, etc. (a.m. shifts only)

___ Pick Up and Delivery (make trips in your truck or car, load & unload)

___ Exhibitor check-in and setup (assist exhibitors 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.)

___ Earth Day tent (sell T-shirts)

___ Volunteer check-in (sign-in and direct volunteers to their activities)

___ Food tent (oversee the food area & provide assistance to vendors)

___ Children's tent (assist tent supervisors, limited positions available)

___ Programs/surveys (hand out event programs & ask short survey questions)

___ Traffic (supervise traffic barricade and site access for emergency vehicles)

___ Trash/recycling (keep trash & recycling boxes emptied, pick up trash)

___ The "Pack-up Pack" (4:30 - 6:30 p.m., take down signs, pack up stuff & load it on the truck, make sure the park is free of debris)

Release and waiver of liability: In consideration of volunteering for Earth Day Indiana, I hereby personally assume all risks in connection with all activities sponsored by Earth Day Indiana Festival. As a result I further release Earth Day Indiana its officers and members, board members, promoters, sponsors, advertiser, and employees from all liability for any injury or damage that may occur while I am participating.
